I finished the Flower Basekt Shawl Sunday evening. Yesterday i blocked it and today i had the energy to trim the ends.
Tästä lähdettiin. Reunassa 20cm viivotin.

Puikot: 4,5mm 60cm bambuiset pyöröpuikot.

Yarn: Garnstudio Drops Alpaca, petroleum blue (7240), ca. 75g.
Needles: 4,5mm, 60cm long, circular bamboo needles.

Huivi on ihana, täydellinen, kaikista parhain huivi, mitä mulla on ikinä ollut! Tätä oli mukava neuloa, tarpeeksi monimutkainen, että ei käynyt tylsäksi ja kuitenkin tarpeeksi helppo, että ei mennyt hermot sen suhteen. Vaaleempi lanka oisi ton pinnan mallikuvion kannalta varmaan parempi, mutta se sitten seuraavaa FBS:ää neuloessa. Tässä yhdistyi ihanan pitsinen kevyt olemus ihanan tuntuiseen ja väriseen lankaan. Jokunen aika sitten katsottiin Mami Hoitaa -leffaa (Keeping Mum, hauska leffa muuten), jossa perheen äidillä oli (muistaakseni) petroolin värinen pitsinen hartiahuivi, ja siitä lähtien olen halunnut saman tyylistä itellenikin. Ja siinä se nyt on!
The scarf is so nice, so perfect! It's absolutely the best scarf i've ever had! I loved to knit it, it was comblicated enough to keep me awake and yet easy enough so that i didn't have to deal with mistakes. A bit lighter yarn in colour would probably show the pattern better but i'll try that in my next FBS. In this scarf is combined adorable lacy and light character with a yarn that is so soft and has beautiful colour. A while ago we watched the movie Keeping Mum (really good movie btw) in which the mother of the family had, if i remember correctly, same colour lace shawl as this and ever since i have wanted a similar kind of a shawl. And there i have it!
